Are you kidding me? They are a gift to capitalism. They are workforce with no strings attached like pregnancy leave etc. If you think an emancipated woman is a working woman (which I don’t), then you have to thank capitalism for that, not feminism.
At some point, the rapid technological development created a huge demand in the market for new workers in positions like phone operators and everyone realised 50% of potential workers were sitting at home. But those jobs were deemed as secondary or even demeaning, so the system had to make it look as a pure win for women, hence feminism.
